Last Tuesday, we made the bus trip to AK Plaza in downtown Pyeongtaek. It's about a 10 minute bus ride and only cost us 1000W (roughly $.70) to ride one-way. AK Plaza is the train station for Pyeongtaek (that's the closest city to us) and is this huge building with 7 or so floors full of shops and restaurants. It was a really fun trip that let us experience the city and riding public transportation. We took the trip with our neighbors upstairs, ate lunch and shopped a little. Below are pictures from our adventure, the books are children's books we found in the Korean bookstore. We also had dessert at Dunkin' Donuts (always a win!).
