Gabe had a great day on his actual
birthday. We had Chinese (his choice, of course) and a giant cookie
cake for dessert*. Afterwards, he was very excited to go in the
driveway and find his present, a new bike. Even though it is a little
bigger (and intimidating), Gabe was very excited to get a bike with
handlebar brakes and a kick stand. It is going to be a great summer!
*To make the cookie cake, I used regular
cookie dough and spread it out in two 9inch cake pans. We used ice
cream as the holder for the candles instead of frosting.
